At the Jay Johnson Public Library our mission is to provide every patron with every resource they want or need. One way we can do that is through our InterLibrary Loan System. If we do not have the resource you are looking for, through Interlibrary Loan, we can search through every library in the state of Kansas to find what you need and borrow that certain book or video for you to use.Also, by using the Kansas Library Catalog you can search by author, title or subject from the comfort of your own home and find out what library has the material you are needing. Then you can email the Jay Johnson Public Library with the list of books you need including your name, the phone number you wish to be contacted at and the author and/or title of your selection and we will order that material for you and call or e-mail upon it's arrival.First, double click on the Kansas Library Catalog link and that will take you to page one of the Kansas Library Catalog. Next you should click "Begin". From this page you can enter the desired material in the search bar in the middle of the screen and click search or go to advanced search and enter more specific information. In advanced search you can search multiple fields at the same time including Author, Title, Subject and ISBN#. You can also narrow your search to a specific type of media by changing the media type from "Any" to "Visual Material" or "Nonmusical Sound Recording", etc.
